Tribute Gifts

Tribute gifts honor a loved one impacted by Alzheimer’s or another dementia, and can be made in honor or in memory of a loved one. Tribute gifts in memory of a loved one are a wonderful way to celebrate their life and legacy.

All tribute gifts include the option to send an e-card or a mailed notecard to the honoree or the family that requested to be acknowledged when people donate in memory of their loved one.

Tribute & Memorial Pages

If you would like to honor someone in a more meaningful way, we recommend creating a tribute page or a memorial page. Creating a tribute page or memorial page gives you the ability to share:

  • why you’re honoring someone,
  • the legacy of your loved one,
  • photos & videos to highlight your honoree or to remember a loved one.

A tribute or memorial page also provides you with a unique and customizable donations link to share with family and friends to ensure they are giving to your designated organization, Alzheimer’s Los Angeles.

Additional notes for memorial donations

  • Checks should be made payable to Alzheimer’s Los Angeles with your loved one’s name in the check memo or mentioned in an accompanying note.

  • Please send us the name of your loved one and your contact information or someone else in your family who would like to be notified when we receive donations in memory of your loved one.

  • Donors receive an acknowledgment letter that serves as a receipt for tax purposes. The designated recipient(s) will receive an e-card or handwritten card notifying them of donations received in memory of your loved one.
