This event is designed for people living with Alzheimer's or another dementia, their family members, and caregivers. It is also open to anyone who has a family history of Alzheimer's and wants to learn more. This event is not intended for professionals working in the field — we ask that professionals allow space for individuals and families directly impacted.

Absolutely — we encourage it. Please register each attendee separately so we can plan accordingly.
Cognitive screening is a brief, confidential assessment that can help identify early signs of memory changes. It is completely optional and free of charge. No appointment is needed — simply sign up at the event.
No. Just bring yourself. Every attendee will receive a tote bag with a booklet containing printed slides from all presentations to follow along and take notes, as well as a pen. Everything you need will be provided.

This year, we made the decision to focus the AAR series entirely on communities that face a disproportionate risk of Alzheimer's disease and historically have had less access to research information and clinical trial opportunities. By designing each seminar specifically for the Latino, Black/African American, and Asian American communities, we can offer programming, language support, and presenter representation that truly reflects each audience. If you'd like to experience last year's content, the full recording from our 2025 general audience event is available to watch anytime at on YouTube.

All of our events are open to the public and everyone is welcome. The programming, imagery, and presenter representation at each seminar are tailored to reflect a specific community, but the information is relevant to everyone. We simply ask that attendees come with an open mind and a spirit of respect for the community being centered at each event.
