Our Services for Families

Alzheimer’s Los Angeles provides free services to people living with Alzheimer’s or another dementia and to their families. A great place to get started is always with our Helpline, 844.HELP.ALZ (844.435.7259), where our trained staff will help you determine which program may be best for you.

Helpline specialists provide up-to-date information, education, support, and referrals to other resources.

Support groups offer a safe place to talk through challenges, share feelings and concerns, and learn about resources that are available.

Care counselors are dementia specialists who provide in-depth, personalized consultations for individuals and families facing decisions and challenges.

Understanding the disease and learning how to manage the complexities are critical to maintaining a high quality of life for both the person living with dementia and the people caring for them. We provide programs, online and downloadable information, workshops, and classes proven to help.

Living well with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) or early-stage Alzheimer’s or another dementia starts by empowering yourself with the right information, resources, and connections.

An eight-week comprehensive support, education, and peer group that meets weekly for individuals and their care partners.
