California 2024 Budget

In January, Governor Newsom released his proposed 2024 budget. Despite a large state budget deficit, we are appreciative that many critical programs and services for people with Alzheimer’s disease and their families were not substantially cut. We will continue to advocate for our programs throughout the budget process.

Master Plan for Aging

The Master Plan for Aging released in January 2021, serves as a ten year blueprint to create an age friendly California. We are now working to implement this plan through legislation and policy. Read the Master Plan for Aging and the third MPA Annual Report.

#Health4All is a campaign to expand healthcare to all Californians regardless of immigration status. The campaign has successfully removed barriers to Medi-Cal eligibility for over 1 million Californians.
