The 17th Annual Faith & Health Luncheon was held on Thursday, May 15th, bringing together leaders and members from over a dozen Black/African American churches. Attendees heard about the role that churches play in addressing Alzheimer’s disease in the community. The gathering was composed of people and organizations working together to connect the Black/African American community with information about dementia and the community resources available. Representatives from several denominations were in attendance.
