DEAR FRIEND,

Welcome to the Alzheimer’s Los Angeles Visionary Women’s Afternoon Tea, and thanks so
much for coming! In this extraordinary year — for our community and our organization,

which marks its 40th anniversary this year! — we thought we’d try something a little

different: a wonderful program for you to watch while you relax and enjoy the treats
enclosed in this lovely box. We can all use a little break right about now, don’t you agree?

It’s been especially important, and especially difficult, for family caregivers to keep

themselves and their loved ones safe and healthy over the past year. Your support is

crucial to the success of Alzheimer’s LA’s mission to assist them through support groups,
programs and activities, education, care management, and so much more (all of which

had to be moved online last spring for the duration of the pandemic).

Today we celebrate three women whose contributions have made a huge difference

in the lives of Angelenos with Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementias. But we also
celebrate you, the donors, volunteers, and friends whose assistance and interest make

it possible for our work to continue. We appreciate everything you do, and we hope you

        enjoy your tea!

        Wishing you all the best,

        Jodi Cohn | Co-chair & Randi Jones | Co-chair & Board Member
