Music helps us connect to one another, our community and even to our own inner selves. Listening to or singing songs can provide emotional and behavioral benefits for people living with Alzheimer’s or other dementias.

Music to Remember is inspired by the powerful (and scientifically proven) role that music plays in restoring the body, soul and memory. This recital, with LA Opera teaching artist Nandani Sinha, simulates remembrance and gently invites reflection through familiar and beloved songs. We encourage joyful interaction and singing-along throughout.
